Latino Youth Career and College Fair Presenters Sign-up Form

We aim to provide students with real-world information on several broad career areas. The success of this day largely depends on volunteer presenters who can share their professional and educational experiences with students and relate how they prepared for the work they are currently performing.By offering these career workshops, Latino presenters are able to share vital information to students in both Spanish and English. Having presenters reflective of the Latino student population offers mentors and role-models for the students’ personal and academic success.

There are two facilitated workshop sessions during the course of the day. Each session is approximately 45 minutes long. We encourage presenters to hold interactive, hands-on activities that provide a student with a glimpse of your profession in action. We typically allow time for questions and evaluations at the end of the session.

The content areas we are exploring for 2016 are:

  • Apprenticeship & Trades
  • Automotive
  • Business
  • Education
  • Health Services & Nursing
  • Human Services
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Law Enforcement & Protective Services
  • STEM  Program

Lastly, the Career Workshop session times are:

  • Session 1 - 12:05pm-12:50pm
  • Session 2 - 12:55pm-1:40pm
