Latino Youth Career and College Fair Presenters Sign-up Form

Edgewood College, Madison College and the Madison Metropolitan School District are pleased to present the 9th Annual Latino Youth Career and College Fair (LYCCF). The fair is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Madison College Truax Campus, located at 1701 Wright Street, Madison, WI 53704

Our plan is to offer career workshops through a series of sessions where Latino presenters share with students information regarding their career & educational path needed to train in that particular area. Having presenters reflective of the student population offers mentors and role-models for the students’ personal and academic success.

Volunteer guest presenters will have the opportunity to presenter during sessions I and II only.

1. Session I 9:35am-10:20am

2. Session II 10:25am-11:10am.

The remaining sessions will be dedicated to career and college prep.

Per past student evaluations, this year we aim to provide most of the workshops in Spanish and with both Spanish and English handouts for students. Please plan accordingly.

See here for presenter guidelines and outcomes to assist you in considering your participation.  We encourage you to stay for lunch and the end-of-the-day celebration, if you can; however, we understand this might not be possible and appreciate any time you can give us.
