The Yahara Journal is the student organization behind Madison College's student-produced fine arts and literary journal. It consists entirely of poetry, prose and artwork created by our students. The Yahara Journal is also a driving force behind many writing and art related events around the campuses. We sponsor poetry readings, art shows, contests and more, all in hopes of inspiring our students to respect literature and art and create their own masterpieces.
Writers and artists can submit their work to the Yahara Journal using our online submission form. All work will be considered for publication in our annual journal, which is published at the end of the spring semester.
If you have an interest in art, design, writing, publishing, or editing, then you would be a great addition to our staff.
If you would like to be a part of the Yahara Journal staff, please fill out our interest form and request membership at our page on The Link. Any student enrolled in at least 1 credit may become a staff member.
If you would like more information about the Yahara Journal and its staff, send your questions to email@example.com, or stop by one of our meetings.
Currently, we are holding open meetings every Wednesday at 4:30pm in Truax Room C1408, inside of the Student Life office.
