Historically Black Colleges and Universities Fair

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Fair will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Madison College Truax Campus.

The Madison Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partnership with Madison College is pleased to invite you to join us for our Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Youth Fair at Madison College-Truax Campus on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9:00AM-2:00 PM.

The mission of the HBCU Youth Fair is to expose black Dane County students to these colleges and universities along with other Wisconsin based institutions.  Over twenty historically black and Wisconsin colleges and universities will have representation at this year’s fair!  In addition to highlighting institutions of higher education, students will attend two workshops: “Show Me the Money: Financially Planning for Your Academic Future & Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)” and “Write Your Way Into College” which will provide information to students on how to successfully complete college and scholarship essays and applications.

It is important to the Madison Alumnae Chapter and Madison College that the African American Youth College Fair be well attended so students can be exposed to a variety of institutions of higher education!  As a result of our collaboration, the 2015 HBCU Youth Fair will be a NO COST event with lunch provided for ALL!  Our only requirement is that attendee’s pre- register and schools must provide their own transportation. Use the following link to register today.  http://goo.gl/udhGik  ends January 28, 2015!
