During the course of the College’s accreditation cycle, the College is required to submit to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) two Systems Portfolio Reviews. As part of AQIP, these reviews are organized into nine categories. Within each category the College is required to articulate its processes for certain activities, its assessment of those activities, and how its results compare to other colleges and universities, or other relevant institutions. Participating colleges and universities are also required to articulate how their actions meet the Core Criteria for Accreditation.
The Systems Portfolio Reviews are examined by a team of trained peer reviewers who provide written feedback to the College on its responses in each of the nine categories. The College submitted Systems Portfolio Reviews in 2009 and 2013.
