Carolyn Stoner Bio

Carolyn StonerCarolyn Stoner has been a member of the Madison Area Technical College District Board since July 2005 when she was appointed as a member-at-large.  She was elected Board Vice Chair in July 2011 and Board Chair in 2013.  Dr. Stoner is a retired educational administrator with 33 years of experience serving Wisconsin public schools and their students. Her last position was that of Chief Executive Officer of the Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #2 agency.  Dr. Stoner earned her Ph.D. in Educational Administration/Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Madison. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association and also serves on the Wisconsin Association of Retired School District Administrators. Prior to her retirement Dr. Stoner served on numerous professional and education organizations including the Workforce Development Board for Rock and Green counties, Association of Education Service Agencies, Wisconsin Association of CESA Administrators, American Association of School Administrators, Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators, and was a charter member of the Jefferson/Eastern Dane County Interactive Network.
