Now that you have a list of all the admission, general education, and major requirements needed at your transfer college, its time to chart out your future coursework. By planning ahead several semesters, you'll be sure to fit in all the courses you need.
First gather a list of all the courses you've taken at Madison College and any previous colleges. For those interested in earning an associate's degree before transferring, request an Academic Requirements report.
Next you can check off the required courses you have already taken and determine which courses you still need to take at Madison College. If you plan to transfer to a UW-System college, use the Transfer Information System’s (TIS) Credit Transfer Wizards to see how your courses will transfer. If your transfer college is outside the UW-System, verify your coursework plan with that admissions office to make sure you're on the right track.
Lastly, organize the courses you need into a semester-by-semester plan.
If you are undecided about your major or transfer college, please contact an advisor at Madison College Academic Advising Services for assistance with selecting your courses.
