Attendance is the responsibility of the individual student. Registered students who will not be in attendance for the first class meeting must inform the instructor in writing prior to the class start date. If the instructor cannot be identified, the student must contact the academic school office that offers the course for either instructor information, if available, or to inform an academic school Dean or Associate Dean, in writing and prior to the class start date, of the circumstances for the absence. Failure to comply may jeopardize continued enrollment in the class.
Note: Nonattendance does not reduce fees owed and students will be responsible for tuition and fees not paid.
Policies for attendance and make-up work for absences are either outlined in the syllabus for each course or otherwise communicated by the instructor/program.
