Compulsory Education Program

GraduationIn accordance with Wisconsin Statue 118.15, the Compulsory Education Program of Madison College is for students between the ages of 16 and 18 and who meets the definition of being at-risk of not graduating from his/her high school.  Students must be enrolled in a district high school and be contracted by the high school with Madison College to attend the Compulsory Education Program and earn a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

Participation requires that the student, parent (if student is under 18), a representative from the local high school and Madison College enter into a written agreement that defines the services that will be provided to the student.  All fees are paid by the school district.
