Culinary Arts Admission Requirements

Application Dates--Fall 2015

  • Application available on September 1, 2014
  • Application review begins after October 15, 2014
  • Application completion deadline is August 31, 2015

Application Materials

Applicants must submit all materials by the application completion deadline.

1. Admissions Application

The online application allows you to save your work as you complete it, and ensures fast, secure delivery to our office.

2. Application Fee

An application fee is required at the time an application is submitted.

3. Official Transcript(s)

Submit one of the following: high school transcript, GED/HSED score report, or college transcript showing an associate degree or higher. Applicants transferring from another college or university must also submit a transcript from each college/university. Transcripts must be sent directly from the school.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission.

1. Education Completion

Graduation from high school, completion of GED/HSED, or completion of an associate’s degree or higher. NOTE: High school seniors may submit an in-progress high school transcript.

2. GPA Requirement

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 from high school or 12 credits from an accredited college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale.

3. Residency

Per Wisconsin Statute TCS-10:

  • Non-resident applicants (both out-of-state and non-district state residents) may only be considered for high-demand programs after January 1 for the upcoming fall term. Non-residents may not be considered for any program which closes prior to January 1.
  • Out-of-state residents may not be considered for any program which has a waitlist.
  • Non-district state residents may be considered for admission to a waitlist after January 1.
  • Minnesota residents are considered non-district state residents for admission purposes.
