General Information

Future students are encouraged to attend a New Student Information Session for assistance with the program application process, admission requirements, funding education and transitioning into college. For guidance on choosing the right career path or program for you, consider attending a Career Planning Workshop.


Whether you want to take a credit course that may count toward a degree, or a non-credit course for fun or personal enrichment, you can create an account and register for classes at Madison College. Use any of these four ways to register.

Financial Aid

Financial aid—including federal and state grants, loans, scholarships and Federal Work Study opportunities—are available for qualified students who are enrolled in six or more credits and active in a qualified associate degree, transfer or technical diploma program. Madison College provides a fast and secure online transcript ordering service available to our students and alumni 24/7. Students can print unofficial transcripts from the myMadisonCollege Student Center. Visit the Transcript Requests web page for more information.

The student's record is confidential and is not released from the college except by proper authorization from the student. Visit the Student Records web page for information on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), and Enrollment/Degree Verifications.

Transfer Credit (Advanced Standing)

Students and applicants interested in receiving transfer credit for courses previously taken at other institutions may refer to the Transfer Credit web page for more information and access to the Transfer Credit Evaluation Request form. Students seeking to use transfer coursework to fulfill admissions requirements and/or class pre-requisites should submit official documentation (transcripts and/or test scores) prior to the admissions deadline and/or attempting to register.

Veterans Services

Madison College Veterans Services provides veterans and their families access to information on veterans resources, assistance with determining eligibility for federal or state veterans benefits, support with making the transition to civilian life and referrals to Madison College and/or agency resources to help students meet educational and career goals.

The Enrollment Center provides access to hundreds of external scholarships from private organizations and donors via askMadisonCollege. The Madison College Foundation also offers new and continuing program student scholarships each semester.
