If you meet all of the requirements, you may be able to use your financial aid at the Madison College Bookstore to pay for up to $800 of textbooks and supplies needed for your class(es). The Book Charge Process may only be used during the dates listed below, if it is outside of those dates, books and/or supplies must be purchased on your own.
Funding from financial aid must be enough to cover your entire account balance and the amount for the book charge.
If you would like to receive Federal Direct Loans as part of your financial aid award, the following steps must be completed.
Grant Permissions for the Financial Aid Book Charge (FA_BKCHRGE) through myMadisonCollege Student Center account. This allows the Financial Aid Office to use your financial aid funding to cover any amounts charged using the Book Charge Process. Permissions only need to be granted once.
If you meet all of the requirements, you will have a Hold indicator on your myMadisonCollege Student Center account labeled "FA Bookstore Charge Sent" which will include the dollar amount (up to $800) you are able to charge.
