Food Service Production Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have completed the following prior to submitting the program application:

1. Education Completed:

High School graduation, GED/HSED completion, or an Associate’s or higher documented degree from an institution other than Madison College.

Contact the school(s) or GED/HSED Testing Center attended and send official transcripts to: Madison College Enrollment Center, 1701 Wright Street, Madison, WI 53704

Transcripts must be on file prior to the application and/or credential deadline. Applicants are responsible for submitting official transcripts that show completion of any unique course requirements. Visit the Transcripts web page for more information.

2. Residency:

Per Wisconsin Statute TCS-10, out-of-state residents cannot be placed on a waiting list and out-of-district residents are not permitted to be placed on a waiting list for a program that closes prior to the out-of-district resident processing date. For admissions purposes, Minnesota residents are processed as out-of-district residents. Refer to the Residency Determination web page for more information.
