GED / HSED / High School Completion Options

The objective of our GED program is to prepare adult learners currently enrolled in either Madison College Pre-GED and/or GED course to complete and pass the 4 GED tests and use this accomplishment to achieve their individual career goals.  Many of our students earn their GED or HSED to maintain their current jobs, obtain a new job that requires a high school diploma or to enter college to continue their education.  Whatever your goals are, the School of Academic Advancement at Madison College can help you get started.

The state of WI offers multiple options to complete your high school equivalency.  The School of Academic Advancement can assist you in choosing the best option for your particular circumstance.

Other High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) options:

HSED option 5.06

I have at least 22 passing credits in the required subjects from High School and want to see if I can use these High School credits to qualify for a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

HSED 5.07

Even though I did not graduate from high school, I have completed a full year of college course work and would like to see if I can use these credits to qualify for a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

HSED 5.08

I have my High School Diploma from my home country and would like to earn its equivalency in the United States.

HSED 5.09I’m interested in an alternative to taking the 4 computer based GED exams.  I don’t like taking tests with time limits and I am more interested in taking semester long structured courses and do some independent learning to get my High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

I am under 18 years old and considered at-risk of not graduating from High School.  I would like to earn my High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) instead.
