General Education Development Certificate (GED) Certificate awarded for successfully passing five tests in general content areas that measure the academic skills and knowledge expected of high school graduates.
High school Equivalency Diploma (HSED) Diploma awarded for completing the five GED tests plus additional requirements of Health, Civics and Employability Skills.
Competency-Based HSED (P.I. 5.09) Competency-based HSED option, good for someone who does not do well with testing or has limited English proficiency.
Compulsory Law Education Program HSED option for students between the ages of 16 and 18 and who meet the statutory definition of being at-risk of not graduating from his/her high school may attend Madison College under a contractual agreement in lieu of high school to obtain an HSED.
