Application Procedures

An application must contain all of the items listed on the posting. Failure to provide any one of these materials will result in the candidate's disqualification.

  1. Completed Application Submission
    (please record the confirmation number when you submit your application online)
    • The application form itself must be completed. Indicating "see resume" in blanks does not constitute a complete application and may result in disqualification, even when the information is provided in the resume or other application materials.
  2. Affirmative Action Survey (second page included with application)
    • In compliance with the record-keeping requirement of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act as amended, and in order to assist in the implementation of our Affirmative Action Plan, we request data on the race and sex of all applicants.
  3. College Transcripts (if applicable to meet educational requirements of the position)
    • Education listed on the application will not be used to meet minimum position requirements unless verified by transcript or other acceptable proof of completion.
    • You may save your application submission and return to complete it
      once you obtain an electronic copy (scanned) of your transcripts.

Application materials must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the closing date listed on the posting. It is the applicant’s responsibility to meet this deadline. The date of receipt automatically assigned by the system when submitted will be used to determine the timeliness of an application.

When the position is posted as ‘until filled’, first consideration will be given to those applications received by the closing date.

The Screening Committee will screen applications as they are received and select a limited number of candidates for an interview. This process will take place approximately three weeks after the closing date. Applicants selected for further consideration will be contacted for an interview. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the candidate an interview.
