The WACTE Mission: The Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education (WACTE) unites individuals involved in career and technical education, provides professional development, encourages leadership in the political arena, and promotes innovative change to enhance lifelong learning.

Our local is one of 22 local affiliates representing the Wisconsin Technical College Districts, Department of Public Instruction, Business Education, Vocational Education Special Needs, Wisconsin Technical College System Board/UW-Madison Association, Wisconsin Association for Vocational Agriculture Instructors (WAVAI), and UW–Stout.
Our local association's 123+ members include teachers, educational administrators, teacher educators, counselors, support staff, business and industry partners, students and others with an interest in Career and Technical Education (CTE).
