Printing Services

The Printing Services Center is the least expensive alternative for printing course handouts, exams, bookstore packets and books, and other instructional (or non-instructional) materials.

Materials copied on general use copiers are all charged to the same departmental Chart Field. It is by far more cost-effective to plan ahead and use printing services. Most jobs are out of the shop within a few days while many are completed the same day received.

Printing services are provided for any size job from 20 copies of 1 page to 200 copies of a 500-page course packet. Full color printing is available in digital format.

Printing Services Tips

To receive the fastest turnaround time, submit your request electronically by using our online form. File types submitted must be in an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) or Microsoft Office format.

Other requests can be submitting in a hard copy format. For hard copy requests, t is important to properly prepare your original document. Please submit duplicating jobs on standard paper sizes - 8 1/2" x 11", 8 1/2" x 14", or 11" x 17".

Originals on white paper give the best reproduction quality. Originals with solid black borders will cause paper jams and should be cleaned up before submitting. Sheets with jagged edges, tears or paste-ups cannot be handled by the document feeder. If you have any concerns about the condition of your original, please discuss this with the printing staff.

You may submit your Microsoft Office Suite files or Adobe Acrobat files on CD or USB drive. Just attach a work order and a sample for proofing.

Please number multiple pages.

Jobs with multiple page should be clipped together -- not stapled. Bind all larger jobs together with rubber bands, large clips, etc. Loose sheets are too easily lost.
