PeopleSoft Finance - Running Budget Reports

The Budget Office offers training sessions during the Fall, Winter and Spring Convocation Breakout sessions.  Details about the training sessions can be found in the CETL announcements or program handed out at Convocation.  If unable to attend, watch for training sessions during the Tech Academy sessions usually held in the month of May.  

 

PeopleSoft Finance - Budget Training for Administrative Staff

The Budget Office will periodically hold training sessions for new Administrators with Budget Manager responsibilities to establish an understanding of the following: 

  • The Madison College budgetary structure
  • Accountability and Budgetary Responsibilities of a Budget Manager
  • Reading and Interpreting PeopleSoft Financials and Budget Reports
  • Knowledge of Contracts and Additional Resources available
  • Knowledge of inter-office procedures that support or relate to budgetary a program manager budget responsibilities

How to fill out the New Funding Request Forms

Every Fall the Budget Office distributes new funding request forms for operational and capital equipment requests. Drop in training sessions will be offered in October and November. Specifics of training will be included on the funding form.
