Eligible Madison College employees are part of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). This is the pension program for all state and municipal employees. It is administered by the Department of Employee Trust Funds. Each year, the contribution percentage is set by the legislature (currently 14% of elligible earnings). The College pays 50% of the contribution and the employee pays 50%.
