If you are considering coming to Madison College as either a full- or part-time student, drop in on one of our Jump Start Sessions to get ... well ... a jump start on the enrollment process!
These sessions are geared specifically for prospective students and provide overviews on admissions, enrollment, financial aid, program prerequisites, career resources and general student services available to all Madison College students. A brief informational portion is followed by Q&A and direct, hands-on assistance from our Admisions Advisors.
Campus tours are offered following JumpStart sessions taking place on the Truax campus. Come check out over 144 programs of study including our transfer opportunities.

Downtown Parking:
Ramp and metered parking is available in the public parking
Ramp directly across from the Downtown Education Center on North Carroll Street.
Truax Parking:
Important: Due to campus construction, please view the most current parking information prior to your visit.
Gated visitor parking hours are 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. Free parking is available in the designated gated visitor parking area.
Directions to access the gated visitor parking:
- Enter the Madison College parking lot from Wright Street
- Look for the orange gated visitor lot marked “Visitor Parking”.
- Approach the gate slowly; press the gray button for assistance.
- Parking office staff will communicate with you and ask you why you are here. Be prepared to give your name, your vehicle description/license plate number, and state that you are here to attend a Jump Start session.
- The gate will be raised and you may park anywhere in this section.Visitor Parking after 4:30 p.m.
If you are attending an evening session:
- Enter the Madison College parking lot off Wright Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the first row marked “Visitor Overflow Parking”.
- If “Visitor Overflow Parking” row is filled you may then park in student parking.
- Upon entering the main building, stop at the Welcome Center to provide your license plate number, vehicle, model, etc.
West Parking:
Free parking is available in the general lot.
