Each of our Madison Area Technical College Libraries includes a computer lab for student use where you can easily get help with your computer or research questions from our helpful library staff.

Wireless network access is available throughout the libraries and throughout the campus.
Choose the Libraries desktop on one of our new cloud computers to access Office 2013 software, 3 browsers, Adobe Creative Suite, and other academic software. Library MACs at Truax have Office 2011, Adobe Creative Suite, and other academic software. The standard virtual desktop includes Office 2010. Students can also access many of their other virtual desktops in our libraries. To check availability of software and hardware throughout the college and locations of computer labs, call the Technology Services Help Desk at (608) 246-6666.
Laptops, ereaders, ipads and other devices are available for student use. Students must complete a multimedia usage agreement form and have their student ID/photo ID in order to use any multimedia equipment or room.
The Truax Library includes the largest open computer lab on campus, with a variety of technologies available for student use during library open hours:
The Libraries - Student Computer Help Desk is located in the Truax campus library, Rm. A3000, along with the main campus computer lab. Student computer lab assistants are available to help you in person, by phone or by email with your technology and computer related questions during library open hours. After hours you are welcome to leave us a phone message or email and we will respond as soon as possible during our open hours.
