The School of Academic Advancement provides services such as high school completion options; English as a second language (ESL) classes; Basic Skills education and assistance; and the Individualized Technical Studies Associate Degree Program.
School of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology
The School of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (ASET) offers a variety of programs and certificates in applied science and technology, including engineering, electronics, biotechnology, veterinary sciences, construction, manufacturing, transportation and apprenticeships that will help you gain entry into careers that are normally closed to those without experience and build flexible skills that are transferable from one employer to another and from one area of the country to another.
School of Arts and Sciences
The School of Arts and Sciences at Madison College offers the Liberal Arts Transfer Program and provides general education courses for the 2-year Associate Degree programs at Madison College.
School of Business and Applied Arts (formerly the Center for Business & Applied Arts)
The School of Business & Applied Arts offers a variety of programs and certificates in Accounting & Finance, Applied Arts, Business & Marketing and Hospitality.
School of Health Education
The School of Health Education offers a variety of programs, certificates and courses in Nursing, Health-Related Professions and Safety Education.
School of Human and Protective Services
The School of Human & Protective Services offers a variety of programs and certificates in Early Childhood Education, Emergency Medical Services, Human Services and Protective Services.
School of Online and Accelerated Learning
The School of Online and Accelerated Learning was established in collaboration with the Department of Workforce Development to serve dislocated workers, underemployed individuals, and any adults seeking opportunities to return to college for additional training. The center was funded in part by the Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education (FIPSE), Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED), and the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin.
Center for International Education
The Center for International Education has a long history of providing high quality education as well as programs for students transferring to the University of Wisconsin. International Education offers studies at the college as well as abroad. The Center offers a Global Studies Certificate designed to integrate student learning across disciplines and programs and foster connections between learning, languages, and study abroad experiences.
