Marketing Club

The Madison College Marketing Club is an exciting opportunity for Marketing students wishing to gain practical experience above and beyond the classroom experience. We are affiliated with Delta Epsilon Chi, the college level division of DECA.

The club activities consist of working over the school year on real life case studies in a variety of areas including Marketing Management, International Marketing, Travel & Tourism, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, Advertising Campaign, Business Sales and over 20 other categories.

The club will attend conferences locally, state wide and the International Career Development Conference at Disneyland California in Spring 2009. The club will also work with a local not-for-profit organization to write and create real life marketing plans. Additional activities include seminars, fund raising, networking with local advertising people and opportunities for career recruitment.

Last year, 16 students qualified for the ICDC Conference and competed with over 2000 college students across the nation. Several Madison College students came back with Top 10 Awards. This type of experience is something that will stand out on the resumes for these students in their search for rewarding jobs.

If you are looking to be noticed for your career in the world of Marketing, the experience of the Madison College Marketing Club is the launching point for friends, fun and the experience and confidence that will set you apart.

The club is open to Madison College Marketing, Fashion Marketing and Business students. The club is limited to 25 students: five officer positions and twenty general membership positions. Students must be in good academic standing and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. In order to qualify for the Disney ICDC trip, students must be active members of the club by November.
