MBRC poster adTo provide assistance and support for potential, new and existing small minority businesses is one of the major goals of various educational and economic development agencies within our greater Madison community.

The Latino Chamber of Commerce and the African American Black Business Association provide leadership and are committed to assisting and supporting small business creation within the mission of each of their organizations.


On Who & Why We Serve:

  • Serve all people of color but will not turn anyone away
  • Partners are committed to education, training and economic development

  • Location is at the Madison College South Madison Education Center
  • The Latino Chamber of Commerce and the African American Black Business Association provide leadership for the Center

Oversight for the Center

  • The Center is based out of the Madison College Diversity and Community Relations Office
  • It is a strategic effort among: the City of Madison, Edgewood College, UW-Madison Chancellor's Office, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, the African American Black Business Association, and the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin
  • Over 22 other partners serve as resources for the populations we serve

General membership is open to individuals or organizations that support the overall purpose, philosophy of the Center and want to be connected to the effort
