Multiple Program Process

Madison College students may only be active in one degree program per academic term. The active program is determined by the program you were most recently accepted to for the most recent term.

In addition to one primary degree program per term, you can also be admitted to and/or active in the following:

  • Program waitlist(s)
  • Certificate(s)
  • Apprenticeship program(s)
  • Community service programs (Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Service Certification, Law Enforcement Academy)

If you wish to pursue two programs of study simultaneously, complete the Multiple Program Self-Assessment Form (PDF, 1161 KB). Once you have completed the self-assessment, make an appointment with an Academic Advisor by calling the Student Development Center at (608) 246-6076.

If you wish to remove a program in which you are currently active, submit the Multiple Program Form (PDF, 849 KB) to the Enrollment Center.
