Congratulations on your acceptance into your program of study! We are excited to help you get off to a smooth start at Madison College through our two-part orientation: Advising & Registration or Program-Specific Orientation, and WolfPack Welcome.
Part 1: Advising and Registration Session or Program-Specific Orientation
At an Advising and Registration session you will meet with your admission and academic advisors, plan out your academic career, receive personalized assistance to enroll in classes and begin to meet students and instructors in your program of study. You do not have to be brand new to Madison College to benefit from an Advising & Registration session.
If you plan to attend an A&R session, registration is required. Be sure to select from available Advising and Registration Sessions by your program of study and then register online in your myMadisonCollege Student Center. Visit the Advising & Registration web page for more information.
Students who are accepted into programs which require a mandatory Program-Specific Orientation will not attend an Advising & Registration session. These students will receive separate instructions on how to register for their Program-Specific Orientation through their Madison College email and myMadisonCollege Student Center.
To activate your myMadisonCollege account, view the Account Activation tutorial. For questions regarding Advising & Registration, please contact the Enrollment Center at (608) 246-6100.
In August, before classes begin, a day is set aside for new students to learn about the college, how to access free services, meet with your program faculty for final preparations and meet other key faculty and staff that will serve as your new student advisor at Madison College. Specific tracks are designed to meet the needs of non-traditional students and first-generation students. More details will be posted prior to term start.
Note: If you need reasonable accommodations in order to participate in any part of the orientation process, please contact Madison College’s Disability Resource Services at (608) 246-6716 or drs[at]madisoncollege [dot] edu.
