These useful Plug-ins, Web Browser Helper Applications, Programs, or Converters may be downloaded for free from 3rd party websites. Make sure you choose the version that is appropriate for your computer. Your online course instructor should let you know if any of these tools might be useful for your Blackboard courses. 

Adobe Acrobat Reader View, print or save PDF files.

Adobe Flash Player Browser plug-in.

Adobe Shockwave Player Browser plug-in which displays Web content that has been created by Adobe Director.

Google Drive  Online documents, spreadsheets, presentations, storage and more.

Microsoft Excel Viewer Open, view, and print Excel workbooks, even if you don't have Excel installed.

Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the file formats new to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer View presentations created in PowerPoint.

Microsoft Visio Viewer The Visio Viewer allows anyone to view Visio drawings and diagrams inside their Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.

Microsoft Word Viewer View, print and copy Word documents, even if you don't have Word installed.

Microsoft Windows Snapshot Viewer The Snapshot Viewer enables you to view a report snapshot without having the standard or run-time versions of Microsoft Access.

Microsoft Windows Media Player Digital Media Player.

Open Office Open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more.

QuickTime Player digital media player. Choose the free player. Often used to play mp4 files.

Real Player Less frequently used digital media player. Choose the free basic RealPlayer.
