Scheduling Process

Each program creates a schedule for the students to follow, the links are below. Each program schedule uses standard Math and English courses. You may need to adjust your personal schedule based on previous college courses, work experiences, and/or the ability to test-out of a course:

  1. Placement tests determine which English and math courses are appropriate for you (may need to talk to a MAAP advisor for clarification)
  2. Add appropriate English and Math courses to schedule; make changes to other courses as needed
  3. Tutorials are available (A-Z Index > Tutorials)  http://madisoncollege.edu/tutorials to help you
  4. Challenge exams are used by students who have the skills and knowledge to test out of a class. To learn more and request an exam go the the Challenge Exam Website.
  5. If you have enough years of work experience, and meet the requirements, you may consider applying for experiential credit: http://madisoncollege.edu/experiential-learning. Each course has it own set of requirements for experiential credit, and you must complete 1 application packet per course.
