Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges which recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa provides opportunities for developing leadership and service skills, exchanging ideas and ideals in an intellectual climate, developing lively friendships between scholars, and stimulating interest in continuing academic excellence.

Beta Beta Psi is a 5 Star Chapter and holds a position of VP of Wisconsin(Representative -- Tina Wegner)

Awards

At the 2012 Minn-Wi-Kota Regional Convention in Rosemount, MN in February, the Beta Beta Psi Chapter was a Winner for Honors in Action Project "No Tech Day" and 1st Runner Up  for Distinguished Chapter.
Cassie Davis was recognized as a Distinguished Member and  Carl Peterson -- as a Distinguished Chapter Officer.

 

At the 2011 Regional Conference in Normandale, MN in February, the Beta Beta Psi Chapter was the recipient of the 2nd Runner Up Award for College Chapter Project. This award recognizes chapters who have done an outstanding job assisting the College with a College Project recommended by the College President.  Dr. Bettsey Barhorst requested the members of the Beta Beta Psi chapter to assist with the Vote Campaign assisting with educating students on where to get more information on voting and on the College's referendum.
