Program Discontinuation

Madison College may discontinue students from their program of study if they do not maintain enrollment in one degree credit class per term. Summer session and certificate enrollment is exempt from this requirement.

If a student is in-process of being discontinued from a program, the College may notify the student via their Student Center email or mailing address. If notified, students should consult with an academic advisor as some programs have specific requirements about enrollment in degree classes.

Students who have been discontinued from a program of study will need to reapply for admissions to re-enter the program. The student may be placed on a wait list at that time.
