Madison College Sustainability Alliance (MESA), the Student Life office, Student Volunteer Center and Student Senate are sponsoring special Earth Day activities at the Truax Campus beginning Tuesday, April 19.

Screening of the documentary "The 11th Hour"

"Women's Empowerment: Self Defense"
Join United Common Ground in bringing physical and mental empowerment to the Madison College community.
"Portions of V-Day: Until the Violence Stops"
A documentary on global oppression faced by women will be shown in Truax room 217.
Self defense skills will be taught by Randy Beck of Karate America
South Campus, April 19, 1 to 2 p.m., UW Room, Lower Atrium

Celebrate Earth Day!
Help us bring awareness to the campus community about the importance of respecting and preserving our environment. In exchange for your plastic soda/water bottles, we'll hand out reusable bags and aluminum water bottles.
