The School of Arts and Sciences provides opportunities in the areas of arts, engineering and science. Students can start their education at Madison College to earn an associate’s degree and transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. When compared directly with nine other Madison area colleges, full-time Liberal Arts Transfer program students save an average of nearly $11,000 a year in tuition and fees.
By completing an associate’s degree program at Madison College, students will usually satisfy the first two years of general education requirements for four-year colleges and universities. Students who have a four-year institution in mind should verify the transferability of Madison College courses to that school.
Students can also earn a certificate in Ethnic Studies or Journalism.
