Center for Student LifeWe appreciate your interest in participating in Student Life activities. All students at Madison College are encouraged to participate in our student organizations, clubs, online social media groups, and activities.

The Clarion

Madison College's student newspaper, The Clarion publishes every other Wednesday throughout the school year. Students are need to serve as reporters, photographers, editors, multimedia (web) staff, illustrators, designers and advertising sales representatives. Join our staff.

Executive Leadership Team

This group is a team of students who represent all Madison College Clubs. The ELT offers programs and resources that encourage fellowship within the club system and the individual clubs. The students in ELT make decisions and improvements on club policies and procedures. Students must be a current member of a club to join the ELT.

Volunteer Center

The Volunteer Center offers students several ways to get involved with their campus community including: helping with food drives, Santa's Wish List, the AIDs Walk, and alternative break trips. To help with these projects and more, join the Volunteer Center.

Programs and Activities Council (PAC)

The Programs and Activities Council (PAC) is a student organization that plans and coordinates a variety of activities and entertainment programs for the Madison College student body. Join PAC today!

Student Senate

The mission of the Student Senate is to work collaboratively with students and college administrators to create positive changes in the Madison College community. Elections are held at the start of the fall semester (general election) and end of the spring semester (officers). Students can also help on some of the Senate and College Committees. Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges which recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college student. Madison College students who have completed 12 credits of coursework toward an associate degree and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 are invited to be members of the Beta Beta Psi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. Those who join, are eligible to become Phi Theta Kappa officers

United Common Ground (UCG)

United Common Ground (UCG) is a student-led programming group that will develop, implement, and host learning programs on diversity, multiculturalism, and contemporary issues. The UCG is led by students who take on the role of programming chairs and receive a $250 a semester stipend for their work. Join UCG today! 

The Yahara Journal

Students are invited to join the Yahara Journal staff. Students on the Yahara Journal staff produce an annual literary and fine arts journal, hold poetry reads, host an art show, sponsor art and writing contests, and participate in writers groups.

Madison College has nearly 60 clubs students can participate in. If you're interested in a club, or to find out what clubs are available, visit the club directory. If you'd like to join a club, contact the club advisor listed on the directory.

General Interest and Support/Advocacy Groups
