Effective fall 2014, the Financial Aid Book Charge process will extend two weeks before and after the semester start date. Qualified students will have an indicator on their myMadisonCollege Student Center labeled “FA Bookstore Charge Sent.” This indicator will include a dollar amount of up to $800, which can be applied toward books and/or software listed on the class syllabus. Unqualified students will have one or more indicators on their myMadisonCollege Student Center explaining the reason for ineligibility as well as any potential resolutions.
To use the Book Charge, students can use their OneCard at any Madison College bookstore to purchase items during the specified program dates. Students can also order online at madisoncollegebookstore.com to have items shipped directly to their home address or any Madison College campus bookstore location.
Charges will appear on the myMadisonCollege Student Center after books are purchased. All financial aid funding will begin disbursing after the Date of Record. Funds will first be applied to the student’s account balance. Remaining funds will be refunded beginning the week of September 22, 2014.
