Paid Summer Internship Opportunties

The State of Wisconsin is currently accepting applications for the Summer Affirmative Action Internship Program (SAAIP).  This program provides paid work opportunities for racial/ethnic minorities, females and students with disabilities.  Through these competitive internships students gain valuable work experience and training in various branches of state government.

Internships are available in the following fields:

  • Engineering
  • Social Work
  • Information Technology
  • Criminal Justice
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Human Resources
  • Vocational/Rehabilitation Therapy
  • And, various other government jobs

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be a full-time student enrolled at a college/university or enrolled in a vocational/technical school program in the State of Wisconsin

                                     and

  • You must have completed at least one year of a 2 year or better, technical college program.
