Student Resources at South

Being successful in college is tied to your ability to become your own agent. Think of a sports or talent agent - these people are paid to seek out the most advantages and benefits for the athletes or stars they represent. In college, you need to be your own agent. One of the hallmarks of this ability is to know when you need help and then seek it!

This could be an intimidating undertaking but the good news is that we are here to help you along your educational path.

At South, we provide you with several opportunities to help you successfully complete course work.

Writing Center  -  get started on a paper; organize your ideas; work on style, usage and grammar; attend workshops targeting research or grammar skills

General Tutoring Assistance - in classes such as history, sociology, psychology, English and literature

Math Tutoring - help at all levels

Librarian on the Go Pilot - librarians are available at locations around the district to answer any of your on-the-spot research, technology, or Blackboard questions! Check here for the fall 2014 schedule: http://libguides.madisoncollege.edu/librariansonthego

We are finalizing fall schedules, so check back for updates! Always feel free to call us at 608/243-4200 to check the latest hours for these services.

Go, Team You!
