Summer Affirmative Action Internship Program

The Summer Affirmative Action Internship Program (SAAIP) is administered by the State of Wisconsin Office of State Employment Relations (OSER), Division of Affirmative Action (DAA) that provides racial/ethnic minorities, female students, and students with disabilities an opportunity to work in a professional work environment within Wisconsin state government.

Students in the following programs are encouraged to apply: IT, Administrative Professional, Paralegal, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Human Services, Medical Administrative Specialist, Civil Engineering, Human Resources Management, Recreation Management, Business Management, and Supervisory Management.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Racial/ethnic minorities, female students, or students with disabilities
  • AND in the second year of a two-year program (Graduating in May 2014 or Dec 2014)

You may qualify for:

  • Paid summer employment with a Wisconsin state agency
