Most campus PC computers, both physical and virtual, have Windows 7.
In addition, our libraries have Windows 7 laptops available for student use in the libraries. Students must complete a usage agreement form and follow all guidelines. These laptops cannot be taken out of the libraries. For more information, check with library staff at the library help desks.
To support Windows 8 courses, the Truax library has a Windows 8 laptop available for student use in the library. The Truax business open lab, room T358, also has a Windows 8 PC for student use.
Students may be able to access their virtual desktops on their personal equipment using the campus MC-Secure wireless.
Madison Area Technical College students can also purchase a variety of software for their personal computers at a significant discount.
