Madison College’s Spring 2023 commencement ceremony will take place at 5:30 pm on May 12 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center. Of the 1,710 students graduating this May, approximately 750 of them plan to walk in the graduation ceremony.
The ceremony will be livestreamed and is available for viewing via this link. For those attending in-person, doors open at 4:30 pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend. No ticket is needed to join us. Seating is general admission, first come, first served.
In addition to this ceremony, the NextGen Responders Academy will host its graduation ceremony earlier in the day on the May 12th. The academy is recognizing 45 high school students who completed the Fire Academy, Emergency Medical Responder or both classes at Madison College. Students who graduate from the program become certified firefighters. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m. in the fire truck bay of the Protective Services Building (1701 Pearson St.)
