After Registration Guide

These guides apply only to the myMadisonCollege Classic Portal.

  1. Find My Textbooks
    1. Log into the myMadisonCollege Classic Portal and click the "Student Center" icon.
    2. Select the "Class Schedule" option from "Other Academic..." and click the arrows to continue.
    3. Pick the appropriate term and click the green "Continue" button.
    4. You will see your class schedule in the “List View” format. In the upper right-hand corner select "View Textbook Summary."

    Note: If there are no textbooks listed for a class, the instructor may not have posted the book requirement yet or there is no book required. Be sure to check your class syllabus, when available, to ensure there are no book requirements.

    If you plan to purchase your books in person at the Madison College Bookstore, be sure to bring a copy of your class schedule and your OneCard (Student ID).

  2. Pay for Classes Online
    1. Log into the myMadisonCollege Classic Portal and click the "Student Center" icon.
    2. To view your charges click on “Make Payment/Account Inquiry” under the Finances section.
    3. Carefully review all charges on your account.
    4. Scroll down and click the “Make a Payment” button.
    5. This brings you to the Madison Area Technical College online bill payment page. You may explore the page by clicking on the different tabs.
    6. Carefully read the "Authorized User"s tab as this has information on allowing others to make payment to your account.
    7. Click “Payments” to make a payment.
    8. Follow the prompts, filling in payment information and continue through to confirmation screen.
    9. When finished, log out in the top right corner of the page. We recommend closing the browser window after logging out for additional security.
  3. View My Grades
    1. Log into the myMadisonCollege Classic Portal and click the "Student Center" icon.
    2. On the Student Center homepage under the "Academic" heading click the “Grades” link.
    3. Select the term and career you would like to view; "Degree Career" for credit courses and "Non-degree Career" for non-credit courses. Click "Continue."
    4. All posted grades will be displayed.  NOTE: You will not see grades if there is a hold on your account.
    5. Click the "Change Term" button to see your grades from another semester or career.
  4. Use askMadisonCollege

    You can access askMadisonCollege by clicking the link near the bottom of our home page. There are three ways to access information here.

    1. Click Ask a Question. You will be asked to provide your name and an email address. Your student email is recommended. Select a description for your inquiry and complete the appropriate fields. Responses will come to the email address you provide.
    2. Search FAQs. Provide a search term to retrieve questions and answers from our knowledge base.
    3. Search by Subject. Select the subject link for list of questions grouped by content areas such as, Admissions, Dates and Deadlines, Financial Aid, and more.

    You will also see lists of trending and timley topics as well as a link to programs.
