Madison College’s Automotive Technology program (different from Automotive Collision) accepts vehicle mechanical repair projects on a limited basis from Madison College Faculty and staff only. We do not work on student and general community member’s vehicles. We can, however, give references if needed. Madison College automotive students perform all repairs to industry standards of safety and quality under the guidance of Madison College’s seasoned automotive program staff. Repair time varies depending on the project, but it can take one to four days for minor work or several weeks for major work. Customers must be able to leave their vehicles at the Truax campus for the duration of repairs. Madison College is unable to provide ride services or alternate transportation for customers. The program reserves the right to accept or decline any repair service request based on the needs of the program and guidelines set forth by the Automotive Technology program and/or Advisory Committee.

- Aftermarket accessories (some exclusions apply)
We do NOT perform these types of repairs:
- Frame work or fabrication
- Window tinting
- Collision repair (body work/dent repair)
- Repair that will defeat OEM safety standards, including air conditioning and Occupant restraint systems
How to Request vehicle Mechanical repair service
Please provide this information via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Based on curriculum and need, we will contact you to schedule the work. At times, the classes fill up with student related work and it is difficult to take in additional work. So it may be possible that we cannot get to all requests. We will try to do our best to let you know if this is the case. We do not offer free repair services, however, labor for repairs are free. Donations to the Auto Club are accepted and greatly appreciated for labor. You are responsible for all part costs, environmental fees, and tax related to the repair, which are purchased through our auto parts department.
