Give a little, help a lot!

Each year, the Combined Charitable Campaign raises funds to help our community. We ask our employees, students and business partners to join us in giving to our neighbors in need. These gifts come in many forms and often benefit our own students.

Our efforts include a Cutest Pet Contest, Give Thanks Event and an online auction where anyone can bid on auction items of many sizes.

Donate an item, a gift card or money that can be used to obtain an auction item. All donations are tax-deductible and appreciated. Contact us and tell us what you’d like to give. We’ll follow up with you in 3 to 5 business days.

Nonprofits Served

Money raised by the Combined Charitable Campaign goes to four umbrella organizations: United Way, Madison College Foundation, Community Health Charities of Wisconsin and Community Shares of Wisconsin. Also, new to this year's campaign, employees may designate funds to an United Way in their home county and give directly to the communities they serve.

Every gift counts. The majority of funds raised by Madison College comes from pledged employee contributions. Consider these numbers:

  • $1 per pay period provides safety planning guides to 80 domestic violence victims.
  • $5 per pay period provides one hour of financial training to 20 participants.
  • $20 per pay period provides 4 months of instruction and support for adults who will take their GED.
President's Message

Madison College President Dr. Jack Daniels, III is a strong advocate of community outreach and our fundraising efforts. His message shows how if we each give a little, it will help a lot.

Dear Community Partners,
As the seasons change, many of us anticipate “sweater season,” walks in the woods to enjoy the fall colors, cheering on our favorite teams and pumpkin spice everything. Before we know it, autumn pastimes shift to winter necessities such as shoveling, hanging strands of lights and squeezing in holiday shopping.

In the coming weeks, please take a moment to remember those in our community who do not have the luxury of enjoying the colder months, the homeless family worried about where to sleep, your neighbor unable to afford hot water and parents heartbroken that they cannot afford transportation, health care or food for their children, let alone buy them presents.

There is a way you can help. Give to the Madison College Combined Charitable Campaign. Regardless of the size of your gift, it will make a tremendous difference in the lives of those who need our help.

Last year’s campaign netted nearly $80,000 for community charities – $3,100 of which was raised by our online auction. Your donation to our silent auction will help us in helping the communities we serve. Popular donation items include gift baskets, gift cards, concert/sports tickets, apparel, food or hotel vouchers, sporting goods and electronics. Donors will receive credit for their donations in announcements, event programs, the online auction and the Madison College website.

Your donation will go toward student Scholarships and local community organizations including United Way, Community Health Charities and Community Shares of Wisconsin.

Can we count on you?

Please join us in sharing our gifts and warm hearts with our community.
