Construction and Remodeling Facilities

Each year, Construction and Remodeling program students build a net-zero ready Tiny Home that is sold to the public. The Tiny Home is built by students under the direction of four master carpenters.

    Madison College’s construction labs have modern, professional grade tools and equipment currently in use in the industry. Brand names include Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Hitachi and Sawstop to name just a few. You will learn how to use them all safely and productively.

    There are currently 5,835 construction and remodeling job postings in the Madison College district. This is expected to increase by +8.4% by 2025. Average starting wages for graduates is $18-20+ per hour, with a lot of opportunities for career and wage growth.
