All Madison College events are canceled through May 3.
Madison College is suspending all college-supported travel through May 3. This supersedes communication sent March 10, 2020. This includes travel for employees and students.
Madison College strongly encourages everyone in our community to cancel all personal travel outside of your local home county. As the spread of COVID-19 escalates, you face a higher level of risk of infection and/or the possibility of self-isolation upon your return for any travel outside your home region. Everyone should be aware that if you travel you should self-isolate for 14 days depending where you're traveling to and from, even if you don't have symptoms.
If you plan to travel, please review the travel information sites below for more information.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends postponing or canceling non-essential travel to places with Coronavirus.
In addition, Public Health and Dane County advises not traveling to states with more than 10 cases of active COVID-19.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has also released safety information for international travelers.
The situation continues to evolve daily and new warnings may appear without notice.
