Mindfulness Practice

During the Fall and Spring semesters, Madison College offers mindfulness practice sessions and retreats for students, employees and community members.

Mindfulness means bringing your awareness to the present moment. Consistent mindfulness practice can have a powerful effect on calming, healing, learning, mood, sleep, energy and relationships.

Free Practice sessions at Madison College:
Sessions are held on the Truax Campus in the Health Education building, room 131.

  • Mondays: Noon - 12:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesdays: Noon - 12:30 p.m. 

An intro session for beginners is held the first Tuesday of every month.

If you would like to practice on your own, you can reserve the Reflection Room through Student Life for 15 minutes at a time.
