Celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day Oct. 14

Madison College will celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day Monday, Oct. 14, from 3-4 p.m. at the Goodman South Campus, 2429 Perry Street. The program will feature poetry by Louis V. Clark III, author of Rebel Poet and How to be and Indian in the 21st Century. Alder Arvina Martin of District 11, Madison's first Native American alder, will also speak on the importance of the observance.
