Learn about skills and careers in arboriculture and urban forestry Sept. 16 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at a free hands-on experience with Urban Forestry/Arborist techniques and the opportunity to network with Arboriculture/Urban Forestry Technician students and industry professionals. The event will be held at Madison College's Human and Protective Services building, 1701 Pearson Street, Madison.

Professional Arborists and Urban Forestry faculty will be offering demonstrations, including climbing, and the opportunity to see the latest equipment. There will be door prizes and dinner is provided.

Madison College offers this two-year associate degree program at the Truax Campus. Students can attend full- or part-time. Graduates are ready for a range of professional positions in the field of urban forestry.
