Are you suffering from Zoom fatigue?

Brain fog? Exhausted? Irritated eyes? You could have Zoom fatigue.

Stanford University researchers recently took a closer look at this pandemic phenomenon. Madison College social media instructor Steve Noll talked to Channel 15 and Channel 27 about the causes and fixes of Zoom fatigue.

Noll told Channel 15 that videoconferencing limits people from seeing head nods and other gestures that are key to communication.

“Without that nonverbal feedback, you have this tendency to go back and keep repeating the same thing over and over again to make sure people get it,” Noll said.

To prevent and recover from any fatigue, Noll says create boundaries while working from home.
