In the Agriculture Systems Management technical diploma program at Madison College, you'll take four courses that teach basic business planning and analysis skills. You'll learn about business plans, economic principles, financial management, how to set and achieve your agribusiness goals, and strategies to monitor your success.
You will gain an understanding of sustainable soil and crop management strategies and investigate how these strategies impact your business. You will also learn about animal production principles necessary for success in the business of farming including animal health, genetics, reproduction and livestock safety.
While in the program, you will apply what you learn to your own agribusiness operation or simulations developed by the instructor.
